Students got very creative with this open-ended project and made bots that had moveable arms, were several feet long, had spinning plates, had "flippers", equipped with pincers, and much more! A huge shoutout to the winners of the last man standing battles!

Our very own Jodi Beck was awarded the PEAK Award and recognized for her exceptional contributions and inspiring attitudes at the recent Nebo School District school board meeting! "These dedicated individuals were presented with the Positive Energy and Kindness (PEAK) Award, a recognition given to staff members who consistently demonstrate extraordinary positive energy, leadership, and genuine kindness within the district community." Congratulations, Jodi ... thank you for all you do for students! We LOVE you here at the ALC!

Our Travel and Tourism students had the amazing opportunity to visit and tour the beautiful St. Regis Deer Valley Resort in Park City! Following the tour, we were able to visit the UVU Wasatch Campus to learn more about the W.A.R.M. program. From riding the funicular to enjoying a Q & A session with a variety of resort employees, our students had the time of their lives! Thank you, Mr. Ford, for organizing this awesome opportunity for us!
