This start-up innovation class will help students gain an understanding of the marketing and management principles necessary to start and operate their own business.  Students will learn about the following:

  • Identify real world problems and find solutions

  • Gain an understanding of a marketing plan and how to utilize it for a business

  • Basic understanding of economics

  • Understanding of financial documents and accounting

  • Business management and organization

    • Business Pitch - The final project for this course will be a business pitch presentation for a new business idea you will create
