Allianna Walters was announced as the 2025-2026 National Educators Rising President! She ran against thousands of students across the country and we are beyond excited for her! She also received a white ribbon for her competitive event, Project Visualize, where she facilitated a week full of activities for students at SFHS with special needs.
Jastynnie (Arrow) Miner received the Educators Rising Leadership Award and received a $1,000 scholarship. For this award, she spent 100ās of hours in special education classrooms helping non-verbal students learn to communicate, fundraised to put an AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) Device in the All Abilities park in Spanish Fork, and even assisted a child in telling his parents he loved them for the very first time. When she was the one student in the nation to receive this award during the awards ceremony, the students from Nebo were ecstatic!
Congratulations to these students for a job well done!
