• 2 Period Block with Carpentry 2

• PreReq:  Construction site is a 17 minute walk from the ALC (if you don't have your own transportation).

In this two-course series, students will be instructed and participate in the following:

• Layout

• Building

• Coordination of residential construction

• Use of hand and power tools 

• Common systems of framing

• Construction materials

• Estimating

• Blueprint reading

• Concrete placing

• Finish work

Continuation of Carpentry 1 - Students will be involved in the following:

• Construction of homes in all stages

• Instruction by a licensed contractor

• Tools will be provided
