We are excited to announce our Career Night for students (8th-12th grade) and parents that will be held tonight, November 10th at the ALC, 161 E 400 N, Salem,
Please join the ALC and UVU staff as we: 'Explore the possibilities, Discover possible careers, promising jobs, and earning potential associated with 'Automotive Repair, Collision, Aviation, & Business'.
(Are You New to ALC, CTE, and CE? We will offer a brief introduction at 5:30 p.m., followed by a tour of the ALC at 5:45 p.m.)
We start the main presentation promptly at 6:00 PM with important information about each of the career areas. We then break into groups to learn more about the specific areas that interest students the most. We then conduct a second rotation, allowing students to listen to two different presentations.
At 7:15 p.m.- 7:45 p.m., we will host a 'Job Shadow' orientation for Junior and Senior students and parents who are interested or required to participate in an industry 'Job Shadow' experience related to 'transportation.'
